I really need/want this. It's the smartest refrigerator I've ever had the pleasure to blog about (come to think of it, it's the ONLY refrigerator I've ever blogged about)... moving on, LG's Side-by-Side Refrigerator does just about everything you'd expect from a kitchen appliance, aside from actually cooking your meals for you.
It's packed with fabulous features but one of the best is the 15" LCD TV w/ Remote Control and the Weather/Info Center. It gives you a complete 5-day forecast for your area. You don't even have to leave your kitchen to get the news & weather... nice! The fridge also comes pre-loaded with gobs of recipes - something I'd definitely take advantage of. Other wonderful perks - the ability to store digital photos, FM radio, anniversary reminders, and touch-sensitive controls for the internal temp of the fridge & freezer.
How much for the TV/cookbook/refrigerator/datebook in one? $3,500.
Doesn't the word refrigerator look a little silly when you type it 80 times in a row? Apologizing in advance for spelling mistakes. Refridgeramarator.

I was interested to read the wonderful comments about the LG refrigerator. I also have an LG, not the very high tech one listed. I have the french door model. Were it not for the technical problems with this brand, I would love it also. Ours is 18 months old, and has had two major problems. I would suggest anyone interested in purchasing an LG product to Google "Complaints LG refrigerators". You might be amazed. And the company is not interested in helping. In our case, we have an $1800 model that freezes so badly internally that the fan stops working and we have to shut it off for 4-5 hours and then start it again. And this is after parts replacement. Buyer beware
