Soft and Fluffy USB Speakers

It doesn't get any cuter than stuffed animal USB speakers. It really doesn't! This would be ideal for those people that buy their kids computers when they are like 4 years old. Does a 4 year old really need a computer? Moving on, these adorable speakers come in many different animal varieties: pigs, bunnies, puppies, bears. Where are the cats?!

Based on price ($10 to $15), they probably aren't that high quality, but at least it won't leave a mark if your kid decides to use it as a projectile at their baby brother.

P.S. Wow almost a month without updating. Sorry, fans, I have been uber busy - I still love you!

ILIFT Is the Answer to Anti-Aging?

There comes a time in every woman's life when they have to start thinking about dreadful things like wrinkles and *barf* cellulite. This handheld device called the ILIFT (and no, it's not made by Apple) is designed to target those pesky little problems. Apparantly, massaging yourself with this thing just 15 minutes a day is all it takes to reduce the signs of aging by tightening your skin and toning your muscles. It is programmable to be used on various areas of your body, so anyone can use it.

How scary does this sound: attack your skin with ions to strengthen cellular resistance, improve circulation with infrared rays, and micro massage to strengthen electricity. Ummm, what??? This is our skin we are talking about, right? Not a spaceship?

Or, save the approximately 500 US dollars. Maybe the better (and less scary) solution is eating less doughnuts and running more. Just a thought!

Purple Velvet Chair with Built In Speakers Will Rock Your World

This chair is the furniture equivalent of Barry White. It's big, soft, smooth, full of bass, and it makes you want to get busy.

Or at least, that's the first thing I thought of when I saw it. I mean, it's a PURPLE VELVET CHAIR with built in speakers that vibrate with the bass. Come on!! I actually think it's supposed to appeal towards those who are musically inclined (and lazy) but the color purple is pretty...... sensual.

It's got an integrated CD player and hook-ups for your iPod or other mp3 player.

Heart Shaped Mouse for the Lonely Clicker

Here we go - yet another cute mouse. What makes this particular one special is that it actually says "I Love You" when you click the scrollwheel - awwww, how sweet.

imgheartmouse_1.jpg

I suppose it's kind of cute, but the design of it looks like it is more than slightly uncomfortable. Unless your hands are really tiny. But how desperate are you? Buy the words your boyfriend won't say for $40 - by Dynamism!

P.S. Shouldn't they have saved this for Valentine's Day?

Indulge Yourself - S.T. Dupont's Flashy Flash Drive

Calling all big spenders - I've got another little treasure for you to waste your money on! It's been a while since I've shown you a grossly overpriced flashy storage unit, so feast your eyes on this:

Impress your peers with this alluring USB memory stick from S.T. Dupont, officially named the 'Lacquer and Palladium USB Key.' For $480, you are getting a whole 2GB of space, but you are mostly paying for the look of it. It features the trademark diamondhead pattern as well as a spicy little block of color (available in pink, turquoise, palladium, and black).

Warm Your Feet With Panasonic's Heated Carpets

Save on your electric bill this winter by investing in one of Panasonic's heated carpets. What? It took them this long to invent this? It's brilliant. Anyone who has had to suffer through freezing cold winters with hardwood floors can understand how nice it would be to step onto a nice heated rug. The temperature goes up to 114F, but is adjustable, thank goodness, because 114 degrees is a bit hot for lounging.

It's also stain proof and waterproof, in case you spill something on it, or your pet decides to make it a bathroom - no electrification!

Sony Ericsson's K770 Cyber-Shot Phone

As much as I love a good pair of boots, I might have found the perfect fall accessory. This super slim K770 from Sony Ericsson is not only adorable, and compatible with the autumn color scheme, but it's packed full of geeky goodness.

k7701600.jpgk7703600.jpg

To name just a few of the fabulous specs... it's got a 3.2 megapixel camera, PhotoFix (think Photoshop, but smaller), and a 256MB memory card. Plus, you can post your pics to your blog or photo-sharing network (we think they mean Myspace & Facebook) in a snap using the drag & drop technology via USB. And all you music lovers will enjoy the media player and FM radio.

Those buttons look obnoxious, but besides that, me likey!

Two More YouTube Compatible Cameras from Casio

Just imagine all the fabulous footage you are gonna get with these new cameras by Casio. They feature "YouTube Capture Mode" which allows you to not only capture video of optimal size and recording quality, but makes uploading easier with a pre-installed supporting application on the camera. Another cool feature is Exilim Engine 2.0 image processing, this gives your recordings a higher compression rate, allowing for higher quality videos.

Available in two versions - the EX-V8 comes in silver or black (boring) - it's got 8.1mpx, 7x optical zoom, 2.5" LCD screen, blur reduction and image stabilization technology. The fancier upgraded version, EX-Z1080, has 10.1mpx, 3x optical zoom, a "super life battery" (for up to 370 shots with a full charge), higher sensitivity with up to 6400 ISO, 2.6" LCD screen, AND the best part... comes in grey, black, blue, pink, and GOLD. Shnazzy!

Steve Jobs - In Building Block Form

How pissed would you be if someone made you into a LEGO instead of an action figure? I guess that's what you get when you're a super geek. Not just any geek, but the 132nd richest person in the world geek. PodBrix just announced a 'Young Woz and Jobs Playset.' The Limited Edition set showcases the early days of the duo.

woznjobs_big.jpg

From PodBrix: “Hand created by Tomi, each playset contains a young version of Jobs and Woz immortalised in minifig form. The backdrop set features a desk with custom made computer, circuit board based project in progress, and a 2001 style calendar marking a fateful date. The reverse of the backdrop displays the limited edition unit number and is signed by Tomi.”

I know several Apple nerds that would go bananas over this, however, only 300 of them are being made and are selling for about $40 each. I don't know about you, but I'm gonna stick with that amazing pirate ship LEGOs set I had with little gold pieces!!

Project Runway Winner Designs Line of Gadget Cases

Chloe Dao, winner of the 2nd season of the hit reality TV show "Project Runway" has just released a fashionable line of apparel ...... for your gadgets!

The line, exclusively available through Pacific Design, features cases for everything from iPods and iPhones to laptops to games. The cases have several different patterns, from swirly/psychedelic to hounds tooth and a linear design..... all of which are cute, so I'm all about it.

You'd expect these to be expensive seeing as she's a famous designer now and all, but no - all the products are around $20.

Cute, cute, cute!!

ZEROtherm's Butterfly Shaped CPU Heat Sink

I can't believe my eyes....... it's a modded heat sink shaped as.... a butterfly?! What is going on here??? Without a doubt, this is the geekiest thing I've seen girl-ified. It is probably going to make all you THG-enthusiast men reading this either really really happy (finally she's writing about something we care about), or really really mad (how dare she).

The ZEROtherm BTF95 is made of copper, shaped like a butterfly, and stings like a bee. (You will only get that joke if you are a girl, sorry) It supports current socket AMD or Intel processors and provides lots of surface for cooling. Oh and it's $45 from Zerotherm.
