HOT Pink Desktop Suitable for Barbie

Get it while it's hot.......... hot pink that is! Ok, that was bad.

Not that I don't simply adore gadgets & gizmos decked out in pink, but this is just the tiniest bit tacky. And by tiniest bit I mean I would laugh at anyone who actually owns this, aside from the expected female 16 & under crowd.

But let's forget about superficial looks for now, and take a glance at what's important - the guts (not that any of you that would buy this even give a hoot). Intel Core Duo processor, 2GB of RAM, a DVD rewriter, 150GB hard drive and count 'em, 6 USB ports. The Pink Predator II (oh man.. you couldn't write this stuff) is available from pinkcomputer.co.uk for a whopping £409.00.

Waterproof LCD TVs for Indoor or Outdoor Use

The first thing that popped into my head while reading the words "Waterproof TV" was a wild fraternity house, and cans of beer being shaken and sprayed all over the walls. Why else would you need a waterproof TV?! I suppose there is the off chance of a leak, or a flood, a kitchen mishap, or some other unfortunate water damage, but the thought of beer flying all over is much more entertaining.

The cleverly named Soak TV line features Waterproof LCDs for use indoors or outdoors, which means you can use it near your pool with no worries that it will be damaged. It comes with the option of hooking up a PC or DVD player, as well as stereo speakers.

The Soak TV line isn't available for purchase yet, but hopefully will be by summertime. Pricing only available for one model, the Soak104, which is £494.95

Hit or Miss: Prada Laptop Bag

"Prada Laptop Bag." The very words excite me and make my heart beat just a little bit faster. This surely won't be your run of the mill laptop bag, this will be a high-quality, gorgeous, haute couture accessory for carrying your ever valuable notebook. It is PRADA for goodness sake!

And then I get a glance at it... and it's patent leather. And faded, silver to black. :(

Worst of all is the accompanying price tag - a bank-breaking $1,116! Although the design is far less than I would have expected from Prada, the price tag is right on point. It's got a 52" shoulder strap, is 12" wide x11" tall and 2" deep, with a lightly padded interior. This product is obviously all about the name brand here. It's available from discount designer website Bluefly.com.

But, I suppose we have seen worse (might I remind you of THIS monstrosity).

The $94,000 Cell Phone.... Is This Really Necessary??

The Prada and Giorgio Armani phones are one thing, but this.... well this is quite another. Japanese mobile company Softbank Mobile is teaming up with Tiffany & Co to create a nearly $100,000 cell phone (exact price tag is 10 million yen or $94,000 USD). This luxury mobile phone is adorned in 400 diamonds for a total of 20 carats. Ask any girl you know - if there is anyone that knows diamonds, it's Tiffany's!

Well at least it's pretty. SIKE! My eyes, my eyes! That thing is OOOOGALAY!

As if the rich folks really need another gadget to tote around and leave the rest of us bitter about. This is truly insane!

Anticipated launch date between Feb and March of this year. I wonder if it'll come in the little blue box?
