Dating Site Makes Millions by Connecting Cheaters

I was pretty blown away when I recently was approached by a representative for a dating website strictly for millionaires. However, this is LA, and that kind of mentality (we are rich and/or beautiful, therefore, we are better than you and deserve elite social status) is not that uncommon.

THIS, however, this takes the cake! Ashley Madison (seemingly innocent name, right?) is an agency with the sole purpose of assisting married folks in being unfaithful. Their tagline says it all - "Life is Short. Have an Affair." Ummm.... what?!?! Is this allowed? What happened to morals? Wait a minute, what am I talking about. This is Hollywood baby!!! There are no morals.

Apparently it's pretty freaking popular, the self-proclaimed "World's Premier Discreet Dating Service" boasts over 2 million members. Over 30,000 of which are online as we speak (thanks to the handy counter at the bottom of the homepage.) It's also been featured on "Larry King," "Ellen," "Dr. Phil," and "20/20".

Shame on you if you sign up for this. Here is a much better opportunity to let loose, they're having a contest to win an all-expenses paid trip to LA for a private "Summer Splash" party at the Playboy Mansion on August 1. "Airfare. Hotel. Money. Horny Naked Bunnies." It's a trip for 2 and they're picking a winner a day for 30 days.

What has the world come to? I'm going to take a bath in holy water.

Wow. That is truly disgusting. I mean, I was contemplating how bad society was yesterday when I saw a mullet, but this is worse. Way worse.

KiLo81:

Sounds awesome! My mullet and I will have to check it out.

Charlie:

So people like sex, what's new about that? I'm all for it, it makes it even easier to check up on your partner if you require more than just love from them, if you're even getting that.

Joseph:

Meanwhile, we're told that allowing homosexuals to marry will destroy heterosexual marriage.

subvoice:

you feature weblinks on this site to www.anastasia-international.com - Find Russian Girls on Anastasia Web - or this one: www.lovebyrd.com/dating....

you are just a hypocrite!

Mark:

I agree with Jen, this is disgusting. It's bad enough I saw a 15 year old that was due to deliver her baby next month, and knowing a 20 year old with 2 kids and expecting a 3rd, but now I get to see stupid rich people running around banging the hell out of each other thanks to some website that promotes affairs. I hope this place goes down for promoting adultery.

Toph:

So you're saying that if I win the Playboy Mansion trip, you won't go with me?

Seriously though, people who would use that site have issues that will only work out disastrously in the end. But in a way I’m glad the like-minded are being gathered, in hopes that it will spare the rest of us.

Mark Hamil:

Well...I suppose if all members are informed and give consent, I can't see the harm.

Although the 'discreet' label makes me doubt that informed consent will be involved.

GZ:

Oh think of the lawsuits. The ones made by the innocent spouse who discovers that this site led their spouse to be unfaithful. Or the one by the guilty spouse when this site screws up on privacy.

But that will be nothing compare to the lawsuit when the jealous spouse gets a gun a kills the guilty spouse and partner. Anyone want to take bets on how long?

On the plus side, think of opportunity you have to earn money here, you can black mail people by threatening to out them. Now THAT is LA!

You know the saying "Where there is a will there is a way"..cheating is very easy nowadays..we have people we meet at work, chat rooms etc..I dont approve or disapprove.....After all those who cheat are all gathered in the same place...they know what they want and how to get it...www.Scapadasamorosas.com is the same style of site, however, it is bilingual...so you get to cheat in two languages..go figure....
