The Mythbuster guys demonstrate their 1,100 barrel paint gun at Nvidia's NVISION show, which recreates the Mona Lisa in a single blast. Watch the first one if you want, but the cool part comes around the 1:30 mark. And be sure to watch the last 10 seconds. Wow.

It's true! I could totally see James Bond sporting these.

Pair these Robot Cufflinks with a nice suit and a hot babe, and you'll be the star of the show. They're totally worth the $40 you're gonna pay for them.

Not to be a jealous girl or anything but... I would totally re-fashion these as earrings. I can see it now, with a nice Versace or Oscar De La Renta gown, at some geeky chic party. Just saying, it would be hot.

It's about freaking time. We have apps for everything from language translators to bubble wrap. Location-based social network BrightKite allows users to broadcast their location to their friends (with photos!), but it has been lagging in the iPhone application department. Thankfully, all that is changing.

What advantage does BrightKite have over the many other geo-enabled social network iPhone apps? It is available worldwide, while many of it's competitors are not.

Great. Yet another reason for me to get sucked back into BrightKite.

Here's a great example of how being TOO connected can come back to smack you in the face. It's social media gone wrong!

This 21 year old dorkus in Australia, Kyle Doyle, calls in sick after a night of too much partying. I am sure we have all been there once or twice in our life, no shame, especially at 21. But lets at least try to be smart about it, Kyle! Moments later the brilliant lad updated his Facebook status to read "Kyle Doyle is not going to work, fuck it i'm still trashed SICKIE WOO."

His company's HR department e-mailed him demanding proof of his "medical appointment," and when he denied, they replied with the above screenshot of his Facebook profile.

BURN!

Maybe next time he'll think before he updates his status. We're watching you, Kyle!

The iPod just celebrated it's 7th anniversary, and though it may seem as though this portable media player has come a long way since it was first released, the general design and guts have stayed pretty much the same (give or take half an inch).

Which is why I'm totally open to the iBangle (currently only a concept.)

Skinny wrists like me? One press of that blue button fills the blue area with air so it fits nice and snugly around your wrist (hopefully not to the point of cutting off blood circulation).

Do you have any idea how much easier this would make running? I'm not a fan of those armbands... my hands flail around far too much while running and half the time my ear buds get yanked out of my poor little ears. With the iBangle, you wouldn't even need ear buds. It's bluetooth enabled, so all you would need is one of those hideous earpieces - Wait! Maybe this isn't such a good idea.. after all... fashion first!

Today is a day that should truly be celebrated, for 39 years ago today at the UCLA campus, the first computer-to-computer transmission was made.

Check out the first hand account (including IMP Logs) from Leonard Kleinrock and Charley Kline, who successfully managed to transmit a message over the ARPANET from the UCLA SDS Sigma 7 Host computer to the SRI SDS 940 Host computer at 22:30 hours on October 29, 1969.

The Day the Infant Internet Uttered It's First Words

The duo attempted to send the word "login," but only the 'l' and the 'o' made it before the system crashed. That's right, the first ever message on the Internet was "Lo!" The full "login" was successfully sent an hour later.
