There comes a time in every woman's life when they have to start thinking about dreadful things like wrinkles and *barf* cellulite. This handheld device called the ILIFT (and no, it's not made by Apple) is designed to target those pesky little problems. Apparantly, massaging yourself with this thing just 15 minutes a day is all it takes to reduce the signs of aging by tightening your skin and toning your muscles. It is programmable to be used on various areas of your body, so anyone can use it.
How scary does this sound: attack your skin with ions to strengthen cellular resistance, improve circulation with infrared rays, and micro massage to strengthen electricity. Ummm, what??? This is our skin we are talking about, right? Not a spaceship?
Or, save the approximately 500 US dollars. Maybe the better (and less scary) solution is eating less doughnuts and running more. Just a thought!

There isn't much you can't get in cordless form nowadays, so it only makes sense that your straightening iron be mobile as well. This cordless flat iron from Hammacher Schlemmer is 1 1/2", ceramic, has 30 heat settings and takes a mere 90 seconds to heat up. Sounds pretty standard, and the price isn't too bad either - $69.99.
Great product, although I wouldn't trade in my pink CHI flat iron for this one. Pink always wins. Always. But mobile? It's a close second.

The first time I saw a stun gun masquerading as a tube of lipstick was at the International Spy Museum in Washington D.C. (very cool, if you haven't been, btw.) It was neither cute, nor available for sale. This one is not only much more realistic looking, but it's also less obvious than a Taser.
This Lipstick Stun Gun is only $49.95, 3" long, comes in your choice of pink, black or gold, and packs a ferocious 350,000 volts of "shock therapy."
Let's hope you'll never have to use this, but it's one solution for getting rid of any unwanted attention. Oh, and don't confuse it with your regular lipstick - ouch!

This is a particularly sub-par Tuesday for me, seeing as I'm feeling under the weather. It could be the unpredictable LA weather - which keeps switching from 100 degrees to 60 degrees, or it could be too much pool partying this weekend, but regardless, I feel less than glamorous today!
In the spirit of my mood, I found this interesting article on how our overwhelmingly frequent, everyday use of gadgets may be making us sick!
Are Your Gadgets Making You Sick?
From sore thumbs, acne, vision problems, and low sperm count (Yikes!) - I myself suffer from more than one of these ailments (not the sperm count). It's got tips on how to prevent each of these problems, and I for one am open to the advice!
It's worth a look!
