Purple Velvet Chair with Built In Speakers Will Rock Your World

This chair is the furniture equivalent of Barry White. It's big, soft, smooth, full of bass, and it makes you want to get busy.

Or at least, that's the first thing I thought of when I saw it. I mean, it's a PURPLE VELVET CHAIR with built in speakers that vibrate with the bass. Come on!! I actually think it's supposed to appeal towards those who are musically inclined (and lazy) but the color purple is pretty...... sensual.

It's got an integrated CD player and hook-ups for your iPod or other mp3 player.

Warm Your Feet With Panasonic's Heated Carpets

Save on your electric bill this winter by investing in one of Panasonic's heated carpets. What? It took them this long to invent this? It's brilliant. Anyone who has had to suffer through freezing cold winters with hardwood floors can understand how nice it would be to step onto a nice heated rug. The temperature goes up to 114F, but is adjustable, thank goodness, because 114 degrees is a bit hot for lounging.

It's also stain proof and waterproof, in case you spill something on it, or your pet decides to make it a bathroom - no electrification!

Watch Your Favorite Shows on a Pink LCD TV!

I'm actually surprised that I haven't seen something like this before. If your love of pink is so deep that it transcends into your home decor, then this is definitely the TV for you.

This 32" Sony Bravia LCD TV comes in the fabulously named "Cosmo Pink." But don't let it's outsides fool you - this TV is no wuss. It's got several smart features such as a light sensor that adjust screen brightness to match the lighting in your living room, a freeze function (pause for those of you without TiVo), front surround-sound, an award winning on-screen navigation system, as well as hook-ups to stream internet using Bravia's Internet Video Link module (sold separately).

Waterproof LCD TVs for Indoor or Outdoor Use

The first thing that popped into my head while reading the words "Waterproof TV" was a wild fraternity house, and cans of beer being shaken and sprayed all over the walls. Why else would you need a waterproof TV?! I suppose there is the off chance of a leak, or a flood, a kitchen mishap, or some other unfortunate water damage, but the thought of beer flying all over is much more entertaining.

The cleverly named Soak TV line features Waterproof LCDs for use indoors or outdoors, which means you can use it near your pool with no worries that it will be damaged. It comes with the option of hooking up a PC or DVD player, as well as stereo speakers.

The Soak TV line isn't available for purchase yet, but hopefully will be by summertime. Pricing only available for one model, the Soak104, which is £494.95

How to Prevent Your Cat From Sleeping on the Keyboard

Every once in a while, someone I never talk to on iChat will get a nice message from me that looks something like this:

"555555555555555555555JJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJT4OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

It's always a great conversation starter.

I have to agree with Gizmodo, this IS a brilliant idea, but there is no way in hell my cats would ever stay on this little ledge! They much prefer to lay directly on top of my hands on the keyboard, or to just keep walking across it, back and forth, back and forth.

But if you wanna try your luck, the Kit-in-Box by 'The Refined Feline' (LOL) holds up to 20lbs of cat and is available in three stains: birch, mahogany and cherry, for $49.99.

And if you do....... send pics!
